Suar solid wood tables are becoming increasingly popular due to their natural appearance and durability. Because the wood comes from mature trees that are not specifically cut down for furniture production, it is considered a sustainable material. In addition, Suar wood is naturally strong and moisture-resistant, making it highly suitable for intensively used furniture such as dining tables.
Prices are calculated based on length, width, and thickness and include the standard wooden base. Alternative wooden or metal bases are available at an additional cost.

Each tree is different, which makes every table unique. The growth rings are lighter in color and clearly visible at the ends of the table, while the core features deep, dark brown tones of mature Suar wood.
All solid wood tables on our website are also available in wider sizes. Most tables can be supplied in widths between 70 and 130 cm, and sometimes even wider. For each tabletop, wooden or metal U-shaped or X-shaped legs are available at an additional cost. Please contact us for current options and availability.
For Suar wood, maintaining proper indoor humidity is essential. To prevent cracking, the humidity level should be at least 55%. Avoid large temperature fluctuations. If the humidity in your home is too low, we recommend using a humidifier.
Suar solid wood tables are delivered completely untreated. Thanks to the dense structure of the wood, the table naturally protects itself against grease, dirt, and water stains. Cleaning is easy using mild soap and a soft scrubbing pad.
If you prefer additional protection, we recommend using Golden Care Shield, a completely colorless product that makes the table easier to maintain.
Suar is a fast-growing hardwood from Indonesia. Because the Suar tree grows quickly and thrives on various soil types, it is not a protected wood species. Suar is exceptionally strong and features beautiful natural color variations and distinctive flame patterns, making it a true eye-catcher in any living room, kitchen, office, or veranda.
A solid wood table made from Suar offers many benefits. It is a sustainable choice, as no forests need to be cleared because the tree grows easily and abundantly. Its dense wood structure makes it extremely strong. By kiln-drying the wood over an extended period, movement is minimized, provided indoor humidity is properly maintained.
Because our solid wood tables are thoroughly dried, they can also be used outdoors. When placed untreated on a terrace, the wood will gradually develop a natural silver-gray patina, just like other outdoor wood. The table can also be treated with oil or lacquer if desired. Due to fluctuating humidity, small shrinkage cracks may appear at the end grain during dry conditions. This is a natural process that adds character and is not covered by warranty.
